Diagnostics of human psychophysiological parameters using eye movement analysis
Control system of human eye movements (oculomotor system) serves the vision to direct eyesight to the objects of interest. Since eye movements, its velocity and accuracy are controlled by the CNS, they change if CNS is damaged. Studies of visual motor system allow diagnosis of a variety of neurological diseases or determine psychophysiological state of the human after head injury. Studies are performed using LC Technologies EyeGaze Analysis System. Subjects perform tracking of discrete or time-continuous target trajectory using their gaze and/or hand, and various parameters, e.g. position error, latency, main sequence, etc. are calculated.
